About us
A local team you can trust in your home
Transforming houses into beautiful homes
As featured in The Times
SH Renovations is a Crawley-based renovation company founded by Samia (Sami) Haq.
Samia studied architecture at the University of Lincoln, but she missed drawing and building with her own hands. In 2020 she took on her first job: repainting a customer's whole house and laying all of its flooring. Word spread quickly, and she went on to set up SH Renovations with a small team of trusted tradespeople.
Today the team covers flooring, bathrooms, kitchens, painting and decorating, carpentry, plumbing, gas and electrics across Crawley and West Sussex. Much of our work still comes from word of mouth, and we're proud of our five-star Google reviews.
In April 2024 Samia was featured in The Times, in a series profiling promising companies run by young directors.

Sami, Rich, Ash and team did a great job installing our shower room. From first meeting Sami, through to completion of the works the team were friendly, professional and managed to resolve any issue that came up. The team had to overcome some unexpected challenges such as tile on tile, repairs needed to walls and flooring and an issue (not their fault) with the bathroom design. Would happily recommend
Sami did a fantastic job laying LVT on our floor and staircase. She went above and beyond throughout and was always willing to give advice throughout the process. We had issues with another builder who was supposed to level the floor properly and she stepped in to help out with that as well. The end result is stunning - we've had so many people comment on how brilliant the floor looks!
Sammi installed a kitchen we purchased from Wickes for us and she is wonderful, polite, on time, and does her work to a very high standard. She has been a delight to have and has gone above and beyond for my wife and I, and I can't recommend Sammi highly enough, aided by Rich who again is a pleasure to have working in your household ( as long as you have plenty of tea bags ha ha ). It has made all the upheaval of having work done much easier by both of their work ethics and high standards of finish, always arriving on time and cleaning up at the end of each day. Thank you both so much. Steve & Sue
